10 sexy items you have in your closet right now

We know it can be stressful trying to decide what to wear for your boudoir session. You’ve finally pulled the trigger and booked your session but now you’ve got decision paralysis when it comes to your wardrobe. Sure its a great excuse to go shopping (see our post on our favorite places to shop!) for lingerie. But if you don’t want to spend a lot on new outfits you might not wear again or if you just want some variety in your gallery, here are ten things you probably already have in your closet that make for fabulous boudoir outfits.

1. A white button down (or any button down for that matter)- You can’t go wrong with this classic. Style it off the shoulder with your honey’s necktie or some tall socks, or by itself with a sexy thong. The options are endless

2. . Robe/Kimono - These loose fitting, flowy pieces are great for artful draping. The lace ones are my favorite for adding beautiful texture.

3. Swimsuit - Like lingerie but with more structure. And there are SO many beautiful options. Plus after your session, you can wear it to lounge by the pool!

4. Jeans/Jean shorts.- Denim can add some beautiful texture with a casual vibe. My favorite look is unbuttoned with no top.

5. Crop top/tee - This can be a fabulous way to bring in some of your personality or something meaningful to your partner. Think band tees, Star Wars, Pac-man… whatever you’re into. Just make sure its soft and stretchy for some off the shoulder sexiness.

6. Oversize sweater - Who says you can’t be cozy AND sexy? Go for something with a loose neckline and lots of texture.

7. Bra and panty set- You know you have at least one cute matching set in that drawer girl!

8. Slip/ slip dress - Put on that silky, slinky dress and channel your inner pretty woman. Pair it with a favorite pair of heels for the total look.

9. Pajamas - Have a silky cami set or a lacy nightgown you love? Bring it with for a playful bedroom vibe

10. Sports jersey- Whether its his favorite team or yours, this is another great way to incorporate a personal touch. If you can, bring a women’s jersey to avoid getting lost in a boxy, oversized men’s piece.
